For Dr Braccini
I went to see Dr Braccini in the February 2012 after experiencing repeated colds, a long sinus infection, and difficulty breathing over several years.

An inspection of the sinuses and a scan revealed a deviated septum and many polyps which were restricting my ability to breath and recover from sinus infections.
Dr Braccini decided that an operation was necessary. A surgical procedure (medically known as an ethmoidectomy) was performed (opening the ethmoid sinus cavity to improve drainage into the nasal airway). The polyps were removed and the septum was corrected with surgery.

The operation required a general anaesthetic, resulting in no discomfort and only the inconvenience of one night in hospital for monitoring. Then a follow up visit to Dr Braccini’s clinic 24 hours later to
remove bandages, and gauze from my nostrils. After a short course of anti biotics and medication to assist with the reparation of the nose lining, I soon regained my ability to breath clearly.
I experienced a minor problem with scar tissue forming in one nostril which was dealt with of by Dr
Braccini soon after.
Apart from feeling aware of some minor internal bruising in the lower part of the nose for some weeks afterwards, I felt no discomfort as a result of the small operation.

My full sense of smell and taste has taken some time to return, but my ability to breath freely without obstruction has transformed the quality of my life.

I found Dr Braccini to be very calm, friendly, and above all professional. I would sincerely recommend his services to anyone requiring a nose specialist.
